visyon+At Visyon we recognise that sometimes our clients may need to arrange their counselling sessions at a time that suits their busy life style because of family or work commitments. In order to do this Visyon introduced Visyon+.

Visyon+ is our fee paying counselling service, which allows you to book an appointment with a counsellor at a time convenient to you.

As Visyon+ is delivered by qualified and supervised placements we do make a charge per session. Thanks to the commitment of our team and our charitable status, counselling through Visyon+ is set at very reasonable rates when compared to the market rate.

Please remember when you choose to book a session through Visyon+ we do require 24 hours notice of cancellation to help you avoid any charges for non-attendance.

Why choose Visyon+

As you would expect our free service at Visyon is limited by the availability of our counsellors and as such generally the waiting list can be up to eight weeks. One of the main advantages of Visyon+ is we are able to greatly reduce your wait to see your counsellor with most initial appointments made after just two weeks.

How do we do this?

By using additional qualified counsellors and supervised placements rather than volunteers we are able to meet the additional need for those who wish to use it.

What happens next?

The first meeting is an assessment period for us both. We will be able to get a better idea of what our work together might involve and how we can be of help.

We will set out an agreement for you so that we both understand what is expected, how long sessions may need to be planned for, working with you towards a positive therapeutic ending.

If during the assessment period or at any other time you or your counsellor decide that we are not the right service for you, we will try to signpost you to another service with your agreement as we want the best for you.
