Self-Employed Young Person Counsellor

We are looking to build a bank of talented and experienced Self-Employed Counsellors to join our team at Visyon, on a temporary basis, until April 2025. Further hours are subject to funding.

The maximum commitment is up to 5 clients per day for 2 days per week. After school hours availability required as our bases remain open until 8pm.

The offer: £27.65 per client, which includes client sessions, associated paperwork, safeguarding and other actions required to complete client session).

You will also get £17.28 per hour for non-client work (mandatory training including safeguarding, induction).

Location: Face to face work at Visyon Crewe or Congleton base and possible other outreach locations in the Cheshire East area.

Requirements

Relevant counselling qualification at diploma level or above from a recognised training institution.
Member of BACP or equivalent professional association.
Have completed 100+ supervised hours of counselling children and young people.
An Enhanced with Barred Lists DBS certificate dated within the last 3 years.
