Initial contact team administrator

Hours: 22.5 - 30 hours per week (1 year fixed term contract)

Usual working hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday or 12pm - 8pm Monday to Thursday. The post holder is required to work Monday and Friday until 1:30pm and a minimum of one 12pm - 8pm shift.

Salary: £24,960, pro rata

Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays, pro rata

Location: Primarily based at Visyon Congleton but, working from our Crewe base and some home working.

Visyon is a long-established mental health charity that supports the emotional health and well-being of children, young people and their families across Cheshire East. It offers a range of services, including one-to-one counselling, group work, mentoring and family support work, as well as training for schools.

Purpose of the role:

The role is at the forefront of Visyon services. You will be providing the first point of contact for the public, clients and professionals visiting or contacting the service by telephone, in person or through written/online communications. Responsible for providing a listening ear service, taking client referrals and providing administrative support to the therapeutic team. Carrying out initial required safeguarding and risk actions appropriate to the role with the upmost sensitivity and confidentiality.
