Supporting Visyon during Covid-19

At Visyon we understand that we are currently in an uncertain time, for a lot of us we are out of our normal routine which can lead to us feeling a little anxious.

Visyon are providing lots of different services to support the emotional health of children and young people during this time. We are adapting our services to make sure that young people who are struggling during this time are able to get the support that they need. This includes telephone calls and group sessions through different multi-media platforms. We are working with young people to manage their emotional health and to learn effective coping mechanisms during this time.

We rely on the support of our community and local businesses to be able to provide our essential services including the services that we are currently providing to local children and young people during this time.

We understand that for a lot of people this is a difficult time but as a charity we still need your support. There are lots of different ways that you can get involved.

Make a donation online to support our vital work

During these times, a lot of people are donating their commute to support local charities. Supporting local children's mental health is incredibly important, especially right now and so please consider getting involved!

We understand that this is a difficult time for people financially but if you are in the position to make a donation and would like to support our essential work you can make a donation online by clicking the link below.

If you are shopping at the Co-op you can make Visyon your local cause

This year Visyon has been nominated as a Co-op local cause in Congleton. If you sign up to become a Co-op member each time you shop you will get 5% of what you spend on co-op branded products back. If you choose Visyon as your local cause Co-op will also give 1% back to Visyon at no extra cost to you. This is a great way to support Visyon whilst you are doing your usual food shopping.

The money raised from the Co-op local cause supports Visyon to directly support young people who are accessing our open access sessions. Visyon’s open access sessions offer young people and their parents/carers a 30 minute session where they are able to talk to one of Visyon’s well-being workers about how they are feeling, what support they might need and to receive some initial support with their emotional health.

Shopping online through Amazon Smile and Easy Fundraising

Now that we are all spending more time at home it might be that you are shopping more online. Did you know that you can fundraise whilst you are doing your shopping online?

If you are shopping on Amazon they will make a donation to Visyon as you shop. All you have to do is shop at and choose Visyon as your nominated charity and they will donate 0.5% of anything that you buy.

For many other online retailers you can sign up to Easy Fundraising where companies can donate to Visyon as you shop. All you have to do is make an account. You can find the link here;

Sign up to be a volunteer

At Visyon we couldn’t do what we do without the support of our amazing volunteers! There are lots of ways that you can get involved from writing blogs, helping at events, in our café and supporting us with our well-being groups. Why not sign up now to help us in the future.

Thank you for considering to support Visyon during this time. Your support means a lot to us and will support us to continue to support the emotional health of local children and young people.

Please be sure to stay safe during these times and follow official government guidance.
