We have some amazing volunteers here at Visyon, from the people who we see every week coming in to help with our accounts, do some DIY and offer counselling, to those who fundraise and those who are on our board of trustees.
We want to use this year’s #VolunteersWeek to say a massive thank you to each and every volunteer for everything you do. Without you and your hard work we wouldn’t be able to do what we do!

We take pride in the fact we have so many amazing volunteers throughout each part of our organisation.
Our amazing trustees offer their time to oversee the management of Visyon and make sure that everything we do is in line with our mission to support local children and young people with their mental health. We have trustees who are IT specialists, nursing leads, health and safety experts and that’s just to name a few of the many skills our board holds. So trustees, thank you for everything you do, you’re amazing!
We have volunteers who come to our office every single week to support us with finances, DIY and our café. These super people never fail to amaze us with their efforts, always going above and beyond to offer their support, even attending fundraising events and bringing their friends! Thank you so, so much.
As well as hiring counsellors in paid roles we also have both placement and volunteer counsellors that offer their skills to support children and young people when they need it most. Without these people we would not be able to offer support to nearly as many children each year as we currently do. Thank you for your amazing efforts!
We can’t forget the businesses and our local community who tirelessly fundraise and are Community Ambassadors for us. Raising money and spreading awareness through dressing up days, sponsored events and all manner of creative events. You guys are truly amazing and financial support you offer means that we can continue to support young people and their families across Cheshire and Staffordshire Moorlands.
