Supporting Children and Young People’s Mental Health (CYP) is a comprehensive, evidence informed CPD programme designed to equip practitioners with the knowledge and skills needed to support the wellbeing of children and young people. Rooted in the BACP competencies and humanistic and trauma informed principles, the course explores safeguarding, child development, the impact of trauma, creative approaches and outcome‑focused practice. This course is ideal for qualified counsellors who wish to transition into working with children and young people.
