WORKING WITH VISYON
Visyon is committed to the safeguarding of children and young people. All roles are subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check. Candidates short-listed for interview will be required to demonstrate they have a good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries in line with the role they are applying for.
We do not accept CV's, only the application forms stated in each individual vacancy.
Safeguarding and risk management is a key part of the work that we do at Visyon. We ensure young people feel safe and are kept safe from harm, as well as supporting team members. We have a very robust and efficient safeguarding process that includes:
Mandatory Safeguarding Training
On call Safeguarding Officers
Weekly Safeguarding Meetings
If a team member at Visyon has a concern for a young person, they will raise their concerns with the safeguarding officers who ensure all actions are completed so that the young person is safe. Team members are not left to deal with Safeguarding or risk concerns alone, there is always a safeguarding officer on duty to offer support and guidance and the risk becomes held by the organisation.
Visyon is committed to ensuring that recruitment complies with the law; is fair to existing employees; accords with equal opportunities; meets the needs of the organisation; and follows safer recruitment practices.
